Compliance Lead – Licensing Manager

About the role

As the Manager, Central Compliance – Licensing, you will oversee ANZ’s compliance with domestic licensing obligations, focusing on the Australian Financial Services Licence and Australian Credit Licence. You will work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and business teams to ensure effective governance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor compliance with domestic licensing obligations, particularly AFS and credit licences.
• Support ongoing compliance with regulatory conditions, reporting obligations and licence‑specific requirements across entities.
• Establish, maintain and continuously improve licensing frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Implement controls to identify, assess and mitigate licensing‑related risks.
• Lead and manage AFS licence submissions and regulator interactions on behalf of ANZ BGL entities.
• Oversee preparation, review and timely submission of licence applications, variations and regulatory notifications.
• Maintain accurate licensing records, including conditions, registers, attestations and supporting evidence.
• Ensure licensing documentation is audit‑ready and meets regulatory expectations.
• Provide licensing advice and support to Legal, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders.
• Build effective relationships with regulators and external advisers where required.
