Communications Specialist

About the role

Netwealth is seeking a Communications Specialist to bring its story to life through earned media, organic social media and thought leadership. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer & Adviser Communications, you will help elevate the brand, build awareness and position Netwealth as a leading voice in wealth technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute earned media, thought leadership and organic social media initiatives aligned with Netwealth’s strategic priorities.
• Identify and shape compelling stories across the business, coordinating media opportunities and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage relationships with the communications agency and support executives with media preparation, speaker briefs and talking points.
• Measure communications performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in communications, public relations, media relations or corporate affairs.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
• Proactive, curious mindset with confidence to generate ideas independently.
• Experience working with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts in a regulated environment, preferably financial services.

Required skills

• Experience developing and managing organic social media strategies, especially on LinkedIn.
