Commercial Credit Analyst (Part-Time)

About the role

Shift is looking for a part‑time Commercial Credit Analyst to join its growing team in North Sydney. You will evaluate commercial credit applications, analyse financial data and help match customers with the right lending solutions. This role offers flexibility while contributing to the success of Australian SMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial credit applications by analysing financial statements, bank records and other data.
• Contact applicants and brokers by phone to gather information and discuss loan requirements.
• Deliver accurate credit assessments and recommend appropriate lending limits.
• Ensure each application is matched with suitable products and services.
• Maintain detailed records of risk factors and support confident decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales teams, providing coaching and mentorship.

Required profile

• Previous experience with delegated lending authority in commercial or business lending.
• Strong understanding of the SME market and solid business sense.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to compliance and data accuracy.
