Clinical Operations Consultant – ANZ

About the role

Veeva Systems, a leading industry‑cloud provider for life‑sciences, is seeking a Clinical Operations Consultant for the ANZ region. The role sits within the Professional Services team and focuses on implementing Veeva Vault Clinical solutions to accelerate clinical trials for biotech and pharmaceutical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects at life‑sciences or biotech companies designing and deploying Vault Clinical systems.
• Rapidly configure and implement the Vault Clinical suite (Vault eTMF, Vault CTMS, and Payments).
• Lead requirements workshops, design prototypes, configure solutions and document content‑management or data solutions.
• Manage project resources, motivate cross‑functional teams, track progress and forecast timelines.
• Ensure customer success throughout the engagement lifecycle and mentor junior consultants.
• Assist presales and sales teams with scope definition, cost estimation and proposal development.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a customer‑facing role such as Services Consultant, Clinical Application Specialist or Implementation Project Manager within life sciences.
• Direct experience supporting a major CRO or top‑tier pharmaceutical sponsor and deep knowledge of local clinical trial operational models and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with eTMF or CTMS systems.
• Legal right to work in Australia and based in Melbourne.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
