Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2)

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2) for Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, one of the nation's most respected hospitals. The position provides senior nursing clinical leadership in developing specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service. The CNS uses advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making, working closely with managers and other senior clinicians. The role is permanent, full time, 38 hours per week, with remuneration of $128,301 to $132,523 per year plus superannuation.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant area, with post-registration qualifications deemed appropriate by the organisation.
• Experience leading and initiating activities that improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
