Chief Marketing & Digital Officer

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive leadership team, the Chief Marketing & Digital Officer will own the end‑to‑end marketing function for a fast‑growing consumer lifestyle brand. This high‑impact role blends strategic vision with hands‑on execution across brand, digital, performance marketing, CRM and creative strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Scale direct‑to‑consumer growth across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
• Lead world‑class performance‑marketing execution and improve paid‑media efficiency.
• Oversee Shopify consolidation, site redesign and the omnichannel roadmap.
• Simplify and structure the marketing calendar for 100+ SKUs across multiple channels.
• Elevate brand execution and creative quality in partnership with the founders.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team covering digital, eCommerce, brand, content and social.
• Oversee agency relationships for performance, creative, PR and development.
• Partner with founders and investors to support enterprise‑value creation.

Required profile

• Operations‑focused marketer with strong structure, rigour and executional excellence.
• Senior DTC or eCommerce leadership experience in a high‑growth consumer business.
• Deep performance‑marketing expertise with the ability to analyse data and hold teams accountable.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams across multiple markets or time zones.
• Commercial mindset with solid financial literacy.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to thrive in a founder‑led, collaborative setting.
• Exposure to the US market and experience with the Shopify platform are strong advantages.
