Casual Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Pullman East Melbourne, a 5-star hotel in East Melbourne near Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG, is hiring a casual Food & Beverage Attendant for its Food & Beverage team. The role covers Cliveden Bar & Dining and banqueting operations, from intimate dining to large-scale events, in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive service in restaurant and event settings
• Set up, operate and pack down dining and function spaces
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver them efficiently and with care
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout service
• Recommend menu items and upsell when appropriate
• Create positive guest experiences with a welcoming, can-do attitude

Required profile

• Friendly, customer-focused demeanour
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
• Positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
