About the role
The firm is seeking a Business Services Manager to lead its Business Services/Private Clients practice. You will oversee a fee base of around $1M and manage a small team of on‑site and offshore accountants.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, many with turnovers up to $50M.
- Prepare and review income tax returns for all entities.
- Finalise complex financial accounts.
- Provide formal and informal tax advice on FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST and related matters.
- Deliver tax planning, forecasting, succession planning and restructuring advice.
- Train, mentor and delegate tasks to junior staff.
- Monitor KPIs, work‑in‑progress, productivity, budgets and deadlines.
- Support the Director with client management and achievement of team objectives.
Required profile
- Current experience in a supervisory or managerial role within Business Services/Tax.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and manage client relationships.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and business acumen.
