Business Analyst – Digital Delivery (12‑month secondment)

About the role

The Business Analyst – Digital Delivery will join ANZ’s Single Customer Front End (SCFE) program, a strategic initiative to create a unified digital experience across all channels. Working in agile squads, you will bridge business needs and technology solutions, helping shape the future of ANZ’s digital banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic business objectives into clear, actionable requirements, incorporating commercial insight and customer‑centric thinking.
• Support end‑to‑end delivery while embedding governance, risk awareness, and operational controls into analysis practices.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams through effective communication and influence.
• Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies, and risks for SCFE initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog grooming, options analysis, and benefits realisation.
• Produce detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories and work with Agile Delivery Leads to ensure technical delivery.
• Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for functional, non‑functional, technical, and integration requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and a focus on customer outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work within cross‑functional, dynamic squads and manage multiple deliverables.
