Breakfast Host

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley as a Breakfast Host. You will be the first friendly face guests see each morning, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth breakfast service in the Gazebo Restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests throughout breakfast service.
• Assist with seating, table service, buffet presentation and guest enquiries.
• Prepare and serve barista‑made coffee and beverages, including coffee art.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the restaurant.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and other Food & Beverage outlets.
• Handle guest feedback and requests professionally.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or Food & Beverage environment.
• Warm, confident and approachable personality with strong guest engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and professional presentation.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, public holidays and festive periods.
• Full working rights in Australia and a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

Required skills

• Barista skills, including coffee art capability.
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros.
• NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
