Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Echuca & Kerang)

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in the Echuca branch (serving Kerang) and focuses on delivering a seamless, end‑to‑end banking experience for customers. You will handle transactions, conduct needs‑based conversations and promote digital solutions while upholding ANZ’s standards of service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, meeting their banking needs across transactions, advice and digital education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
