Banking Consultant – Gold Coast

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers across the Gold Coast. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide customers through transactions, and educate them on digital solutions while upholding the bank’s Customer Promises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, needs‑based financial advice and complete customer transactions.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives that enhance service delivery.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (“know your customer”).
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Support branch operating hours, including rostered Saturday shifts when required.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with proven retail banking experience.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth, needs‑based conversations and act as a peer coach.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible weekend shifts.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service that turns customers into brand advocates.
