Banking Consultant – Berri (Part‑time)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience for customers in Berri. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct transaction activities, hold needs‑based conversations and promote digital banking solutions. The role is part‑time and based in the branch, where you will act as a role model and peer coach to uphold ANZ’s Customer Promises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions and advising on products aligned with their goals.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and encourage adoption of online services.
• Collaborate with the branch team, acting as a peer coach and role model for excellent service.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, contributing to branch performance targets.
• Participate in bank programmes and initiatives, supporting community and commercial activities.
• Maintain “know your customer” standards from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focus with a retail banking background (advantageous).
• Comfortable using and promoting digital technology in a banking environment.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth, needs‑based conversations and advise on suitable products.
• Commitment to compliance, risk awareness and adherence to branch procedures.
• Willingness to coach peers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
