Assistant Educator – Early Childhood (Junction Village)

About the role

Eden Academy is seeking a passionate Assistant Educator to join its Junction Village centre. You will support the delivery of high‑quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment that values both children and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate playful learning experiences that encourage curiosity and development.
• Create engaging, age‑appropriate environments that spark wonder.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating space.
• Support daily routines, including meals, rest, and outdoor activities.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Warm, professional presence with a genuine passion for early learning.
• Two professional references, one from a childcare or education supervisor.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum frameworks.
• Ability to communicate confidently with children, families, and staff.
