About the role

Ready to elevate your career as an Accounts Payable Officer? Join ACCIONA’s finance team in South Melbourne, where you will provide financial support to key stakeholders and manage the full accounts payable cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Obtain approval for all invoices and other outgoings in line with company policies.
  • Process all accounts payable transactions in the financial system and ensure timely payments while considering cash‑flow requirements.
  • Handle weekly staff reimbursement claims and issue remittance advices for payments made.
  • Maintain the filing system for all accounts payable records and ensure GST is processed correctly.
  • Support month‑end closing activities by providing accurate payable data.

Required profile

  • Exposure to accounts payable or administration work, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Keen to learn and develop within the finance function.
