Accountant – Part-time Finance Operations

About the role

C Sara and Co is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Miranda, NSW. The position focuses on outsourced finance clients, offering the chance to develop finance operations and management accounting expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly/quarterly management accounts, year‑end financial statements and weekly cash‑flow reports.
• Manage financial administration, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and bank reconciliations for multiple clients.
• Assist with the preparation of BAS and tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.
• Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with the broader team to deliver exceptional client service.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or working towards one.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong technical accounting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to learning and development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MYOB.
• Proficiency in Xero.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
