Accountant – Music & Entertainment Clients

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to be the hub of the client experience for our music and entertainment portfolio. You will combine deep accounting expertise with a passion for the creative industry, helping clients navigate tax, compliance and financial reporting while adding value through our broader service offering.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a premium book of music and entertainment clients, proactively solving issues and identifying new opportunities.
• Coordinate on‑shore and off‑shore teams to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring timely communication and service delivery.
• Manage all compliance and reporting duties, including ATO interactions, deadline monitoring, and preparation of financial reports.
• Lead team workflows, drive efficiency and continuously raise service standards.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with experience in client services or practice management within accounting or business services.
• Technically strong and comfortable preparing BAS, using the ATO portal, Xero and CRM tools.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines while anticipating problems.
• Genuine interest in music or creative industries and experience leading or coordinating teams.
