Accountant - Assurance

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring experienced accountants to work on client engagements through complex auditing practices. The role sits within the Assurance line of service and could be based at any of PwC's offices in Australia. You will lead the assessment of application security and areas prone to fraud and financial misstatement, and streamline processes that are part of a client's core business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a full range of assurance tasks, including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting on large and complex client engagements
• Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports and undertake audits
• Build relationships with market-leading clients by delivering outstanding client services
• Lead and develop an energetic, diverse and high-performing team
• Grow project management, leadership, networking and technical skills with the support of a dedicated coach and partner

Required profile

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to shape financial audit strategies and methodologies with cross-functional teams
• Deep knowledge of internal controls, with a track record of assessing, designing and documenting control environments
• Proven ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues while building effective internal relationships

What we offer

• The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,000 including superannuation; higher grades fall into higher salary bands
