Yard Person – Workshop Support for Civil Construction

About the role

RJV is seeking a proactive and reliable Yard Person to support its workshop operations across the Perth metro area. This workshop‑based position offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime penalties and allowances, providing essential support to our civil construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily workshop tasks such as setup, cleanup, and manual labour.
• Clean and maintain mobile and static assets.
• Safely operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Transport materials and tools across sites using correct load‑restraint techniques.
• Support delivery loading/unloading and site preparation.
• Report damaged or missing tools and equipment.
• Uphold safety standards and participate in safety briefings.

Required profile

• Valid WA manual driver’s licence.
• Forklift or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience in civil or construction environments (preferred).
• Basic mechanical aptitude (preferred).
