Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant - 2027 Graduate Program

About the role

KINNECT, Australia's largest privately owned occupational health provider, runs a 12-month interactive graduate program for Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Counsellors based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. The program includes hands-on experience, supervision and mentorship, and leads to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Assess injured workers to determine the best way to help them return to work
• Visit workplaces to understand the barriers workers face and educate employers on injury prevention
• Provide clinical opinion and justification through report writing
• Case manage complex injuries and liaise with treating doctors and other health professionals

Required profile

• Graduate of, or currently holding, an accredited exercise physiology qualification (AEP) with ESSA
• Or an Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA
• Or a Physiotherapist registered with AHPRA
• Or a Rehabilitation Counsellor registered with ASORC or RCAA
