Tax Accountant – Business Services / Corporate Tax

About the role

The position sits within the Australian tax team of a leading global technology company. You will report to the Director of Tax and work closely with mentors to develop your expertise in corporate tax and business services.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately and timely deliver tax reporting deliverables, including distribution calculations, AIIR, income tax returns, investor statements and BAS returns.
  • Prepare tax compliance calculations and support client transitions and projects.
  • Test tax templates and update standard operating procedures.
  • Attend internal and external tax training as required.
  • Ensure adherence to operational compliance and risk policies.

Required profile

  • Degree qualified in Business, Accounting or a related discipline with 1‑3 years of corporate tax or business services experience.
  • Intention to complete CA/CPA qualification in the future.
  • Demonstrated results‑focused attitude, strong attention to detail and teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
