Talent Acquisition Consultant – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term (Brisbane)

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid‑ to senior‑level engineering, water, transport and building roles. Based in our modern King Street office in Bowen Hills, you will partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to deliver tailored hiring strategies in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for mid‑ to senior‑level positions across engineering, water, transport and building portfolios.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and design hiring strategies.
• Proactively source, engage and assess candidates using direct, market‑led and innovative approaches.
• Balance high volume and complex hiring demands while maintaining quality outcomes.
• Provide market insights, recruitment best‑practice advice and governance throughout the hiring process.
• Leverage recruitment systems, emerging technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success recruiting mid‑ to senior‑level professionals in engineering or technical environments.
• Strong ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities and deliver results.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience partnering with business managers and senior leaders.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Workday (or similar ATS) experience.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
• Use of AI‑enabled recruitment tools and data‑driven insights.
• Data analytics for recruitment performance.
