Systems Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for a passionate Systems Engineer to join its Infrastructure team in Australia. You will help keep our platforms secure, reliable and continuously improving.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, troubleshoot and patch a variety of platforms and applications on a daily basis.
• Perform security patching and software updates outside of business hours.
• Carry out occasional datacenter work for hardware upgrades and maintenance.
• Apply security‑first thinking to all changes and assess impact.
• Identify configuration issues and propose improvements to procedures.
• Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation.
• Upskill on new applications deployed and managed by the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver quality solutions.

Required profile

• Willingness to obtain an NV1 security clearance (Australian citizenship required).
• Solid experience with Linux server operating systems, Veeam Backup suite, and networking/security fundamentals.
• Curiosity, failure‑mode thinking and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work independently and take ownership.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both IT and non‑IT stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
• Exposure to SUSE Rancher, Harvester or Kubernetes is advantageous.
