Supply Chain Specialist – Performance Based Logistics Operator

About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support the AH‑64E Apache sustainment program. You will act as the focal point for Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) transactions, ensuring the aircraft supply chain runs smoothly from acquisition through sustainment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage PBL transactional requirements and deliver FMS benefits to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide end‑to‑end logistics support for aircraft acquisition, maintenance, and sustainment operations.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve supply chain discrepancies and customer issues.
• Collaborate with program teams to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and Global Trade Controls.
• Assist warehouse teams with receipting activities and inventory control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in defence aerospace or FMS supply chain management.
• Experience with defence warehousing, distribution systems, and related methodologies.
• Working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar guidelines.
• Strong understanding of defence aviation logistics IT systems.
• Australian citizenship to meet security requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
