Speech Pathologist

About the role

Ability Action Australia, a national therapy services provider, is recruiting a Speech Pathologist in Melbourne. Its clinicians help people of all ages and abilities reach their goals, and caseloads are matched to experience and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Early Years: clinic-based early intervention and parent training
• School-aged children: literacy, social communication skills and AAC
• Adults: speech, language and social skills training, including services for adults with acquired brain injury such as stroke and progressive neurological conditions
• Dysphagia management, mealtime assessment and food aversion caseload for all age groups

Required profile

• A team player eager to learn and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Someone who wants to improve the lives of people living with a disability
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
