Software Engineer – YAML Experience

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Software Engineer with strong YAML expertise to help shape AI‑generated configuration files. In this fully remote, flexible contract position you will work directly with AI outputs, ensuring they meet production‑ready standards for engineers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Author, review, and maintain YAML files for configurations, data pipelines, and system definitions.
• Evaluate AI‑generated YAML for correctness, schema compliance, and logical consistency.
• Identify and fix formatting issues, edge cases, and structural errors.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to improve system reliability and data quality.
• Apply rigorous attention to detail to prevent downstream failures.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Comfortable working with YAML in production or data‑driven environments.
• Highly detail‑oriented and able to spot subtle errors.
• Familiar with version‑control workflows such as Git.
• Capable of working independently and delivering consistent quality.
