Site Supervisor – Construction Projects in Canberra

About the role

Multiplex is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to lead construction teams on the Lyric Theatre and Northside Hospital projects in Canberra. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance, and supporting the Site Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise subcontractor teams on‑site.
• Coordinate daily tasks, short‑term work programmes and site logistics.
• Monitor safety, quality and progress against the project schedule.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and the Site Manager to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mid‑to‑large commercial construction sites.
• Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle.
• Knowledge of building and construction trades, supported by relevant experience or qualifications.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with subcontractors and internal teams.
