Senior Pharmacist Team Leader – Horsham

About the role

The Senior Pharmacist (Team Leader) provides leadership and operational oversight to the pharmacy team at Grampians Health’s Horsham campus. Working closely with senior pharmacy leadership, the role drives service delivery, supports professional development and rotates as the site lead.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of pharmacy services across clinical, operational and specialised areas as delegated by senior leadership.
• Ensure pharmacy staff are informed of KPIs, service updates and relevant matters to perform effectively.
• Provide training, supervision and constructive feedback while fostering a workforce culture aligned with Grampians Health values.
• Collaborate with Deputy Directors of Pharmacy and senior leadership to solve problems, negotiate solutions, manage conflict and facilitate open discussions.
• Manage and supervise Grade 1 and 2 pharmacists and intern pharmacists.
• Lead portfolio rotations in dispensary operations, cancer pharmacy services and clinical pharmacy services.
• Act as the Horsham Pharmacy Site Lead on a rotational basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and current registration with AHPRA.
• Membership or eligibility for membership of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia or the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
• Higher qualification in clinical pharmacy or demonstrated practice meeting Grade 3 criteria under the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement 2021‑2025.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and develop pharmacy teams.
