Senior Engineer - SCADA (Utilities and Renewable Energy)

About the role

CPP, part of Quanta Services, is a high-voltage infrastructure provider connecting renewable energy projects to Australia's electricity grid. It is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - SCADA to join its engineering team and deliver high-quality SCADA designs for high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment. The role is predominantly design-focused, with hands-on involvement in system configuration and testing across project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure SCADA systems for renewable energy and utility projects, working closely with experienced SCADA engineers.
• Develop designs that comply with client and industry standards.
• Provide technical input and support during tender preparation.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Turnkey project experience in high-voltage substation design, from concept to commissioning, including knowledge of industry and client standards.
• Experience specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards.

Required skills

• SCADA system specification and configuration.
• Working knowledge of SCADA and communications products used on substation projects.
