Senior Engineer - SCADA (Renewable and Utilities Projects)

About the role

CPP, part of Quanta Services, is a high-voltage infrastructure provider connecting renewable energy projects to Australia's electricity grid. It is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - SCADA to join its Victorian Engineering team, based in the Doncaster office. The role delivers high-quality SCADA designs for high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment, working closely with a group of experienced SCADA engineers on landmark renewable energy and utility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure SCADA systems for high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment
• Develop designs that comply with client and industry standards
• Provide technical input and support during tender preparation
• Take part in hands-on system configuration and testing across project sites

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Turnkey project experience in high-voltage substation design, from concept to commissioning, including knowledge of industry and client standards
• Experience specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
