About the role
MYOB is looking for a Senior Developer - Platform to join its API Platform team, which sits at the heart of MYOB's technology ecosystem. The team builds and evolves platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable integrations across products, handling MYOB's API traffic and shaping future capabilities in AI, developer experience, automation and platform services. The role suits someone who enjoys solving platform-scale challenges and building cloud-native solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain platform capabilities that support MYOB product teams and customers.
- Develop and enhance API services, integrations and cloud-native solutions.
- Drive automation through DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling.
- Build secure, scalable and resilient services using modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to platform reliability, monitoring, support and continuous improvement.
- Take part in an on-call roster supporting production platform services.
- Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, documentation and best practices.
- Improve developer experience, operational efficiency and platform performance.
Required profile
- Experience as a Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or similar.
- Experience designing and supporting APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, automation and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerisation and scalable architectures.
- Experience in agile product development teams.
- Nice to have: API management platforms, internal developer platforms, AI-assisted engineering, SaaS or enterprise platform experience, and support for highly available, business-critical platforms.
Required skills
- Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Languages such as Python, Node.js, Go or TypeScript.
- CI/CD tooling and automation.
