Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Datacom, you will lead the security of critical platforms within CDOC operations, driving improvements and defending against sophisticated threats.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and update hardware and software to maintain secure, reliable environments.
• Establish and manage user accounts and access controls.
• Oversee backup and recovery tasks and implement operational security controls.
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and conduct research on threat actors.
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of technical cybersecurity experience, preferably in cyber operations.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to manage own workload.
• Strong understanding of attacker tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Customer‑centric approach with solid knowledge of networks, firewalls, proxies, and OS command‑line tools.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM, XDR, endpoint protection, identity security solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Splunk platforms.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII frameworks.
• Understanding of IT user security policies, account creation, password rules, access control.
