Senior Consultant

About the role

Datacom is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Consulting team in Melbourne. You will work directly with clients to understand business challenges, shape technology‑enabled solutions and support implementation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather requirements, run workshops and analyse business processes.
• Support solution design, implementation planning, governance, testing and transition activities.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies while producing high‑quality deliverables and reports.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and contribute to proposal responses and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of consulting, client‑engagement or business transformation experience.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops, document requirements and deliver client‑facing presentations.
• Strong analytical, financial acumen and understanding of governance, project and change‑management frameworks.
• Degree qualified in a relevant field and a natural curiosity for solving complex problems.

Required skills

• Experience with software implementation and technology delivery projects.
• Knowledge of information‑technology systems, business transformation activities and risk assessment.
