Senior Associate Engineer – Transport Planning & Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate Engineer to lead transport planning and advisory projects in Brisbane. The role combines high‑level engineering design, technical leadership, and project management across a diverse portfolio of transport infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of transport engineering design and analysis to meet the highest technical standards.
• Apply robust project management principles to ensure projects stay within scope, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to the commercial success and strategic growth of the business.
• Provide informal leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ registration (preferred/required).
• 10–15+ years of experience in transport planning and advisory.
• Strong consulting, client management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and proven project management expertise.
