Senior Android Developer (Kotlin)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large‑scale, secure enterprise mobile applications. You will work closely with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality Android solutions using modern development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Design and implement complex UI using Android Studio, AndroidX/Jetpack libraries.
• Apply MVVM or MVP patterns and clean architecture for maintainable code.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and REST services with Retrofit, RxJava/RxAndroid or Kotlin Coroutines.
• Implement dependency injection with Dagger or Hilt.
• Write automated tests using BDD frameworks (e.g., Spek) and follow TDD practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Gradle and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with UX designers, challenge designs when needed, and ensure UI correctness.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior engineers within the Digital Experience Community.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of mobile development experience on large, secure enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Android development with Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (BDD, TDD, Kanban, Lean).
• Experience with clean architecture, protocol‑oriented programming, and source‑code management.
• Proven ability to guide and mentor engineering teams.
