Sales Consultant – Furniture Retail

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our Shepparton showroom. In this role you will combine product knowledge with relationship‑building skills to help customers find the perfect sofa while driving your own earnings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that positions Plush as the preferred sofa retailer.
• Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets, with commission linked to performance.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Promote room‑solution packages and add‑on items to increase average transaction value.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager on visual merchandising and pricing to optimise sales.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture or other high‑value categories such as automotive, jewellery, luxury goods or travel.
• Energetic and positive attitude, especially during busy periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities to build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Openness to feedback and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to keep sales flowing.
