About the role

The Rotational Clinical Pharmacist position at Royal North Shore Hospital offers a dynamic, full‑time opportunity to develop a broad clinical pharmacy skill set within a leading quaternary health service. You will join a large, experienced pharmacy team and rotate across multiple specialty areas, delivering safe, high‑quality medication management for inpatients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centred pharmaceutical care including medication reconciliation, clinical review and dispensing.
• Supply medicines information and education to patients, families and health‑care staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication safety and effectiveness.
• Participate in ward rounds, case discussions and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Document clinical interventions and contribute to pharmacy records in line with NSW Health standards.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with current Australian registration.
• Ability to work across diverse inpatient settings and adapt to rotating assignments.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and mentorship within the team.
