Python Developer – AI‑Focused PropTech

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a fast‑growing property technology company that leverages AI and modern software to reshape the property, mortgage and home‑buying experience in Australia. The role is hybrid, based in Brisbane (Coorparoo), and offers the chance to work on data‑intensive platforms and AI‑driven features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Python/Django applications that power core property‑tech products.
• Develop and optimise backend systems, APIs and data pipelines handling large volumes of information.
• Collaborate on AI chatbot functionality and integrate intelligent features such as LLMs into customer‑facing solutions.
• Work closely with product stakeholders, engineering peers and leadership to deliver high‑quality technical outcomes.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best‑practice coding standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience delivering production‑grade software.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work within a small, fast‑moving engineering team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
