Proposal Manager I, II, III

About the role

Amentum is seeking multiple Proposal Managers to join its Proposals team, supporting a range of programs in a dynamic environment. The role involves leading the development and submission of compliant, compelling proposals and execution packages, often under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end proposal development and submission, including RFP interpretation, RFIs, solution strategies, SOW preparation and bid analysis.
• Facilitate coordination, review and delivery of proposal deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support team members in workload management and professional development.
• Maintain proposal documentation in line with document‑control processes and support reporting activities.
• Monitor proposal schedules, milestones and commitments, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Certificate/Diploma or undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Project Management or related field (varies by level).
• 0–2 years experience for Manager I, 2–5 years for Manager II, 5–10 years for Manager III in proposal coordination or contract support.
• Active U.S. Secret or TS/SCI clearance (or equivalent Australian clearance).
• Australian or U.S. citizenship and ability to read, write and speak English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency with Adobe suite for document preparation.
• Experience with SharePoint and MS Project (preferred).
