Project Manager – Development & Construction

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Project Manager to lead two newly acquired ground‑up developments in Sydney. You will oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and design through construction, practical completion and handover, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project management for two residential developments (BTR and PBSA).
• Manage the appointed design and construction contractor, ensuring compliance with specifications, design intent, programme and budget.
• Coordinate external consultants and contractors, reviewing designs, samples and benchmarks for approval.
• Track milestones, manage risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Administer project documentation, including contracts, budget tracking, draw applications and stakeholder reporting.
• Champion workplace health and safety compliance through regular site inspections.
• Lead completion and handover processes, including snagging, inspections and phased handover coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering ground‑up residential projects such as BTR or PBSA.
• Current role as Project Manager, Development PM or Senior Project Engineer.
• Client‑side or builder‑side experience in residential delivery.
• Degree qualification in Construction or a related field.
• Strong track record in residential new‑build projects with attention to detail and accountability.
