Project Lead – Facilities Management

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Project Lead to manage building and construction projects across remote sites in Western Australia, primarily the Pilbara region. Based in the Balcatta Support Centre, the role involves regular travel to client sites and requires strong technical and managerial capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Safely manage and deliver construction projects in remote locations, championing a zero‑accident culture.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio including housing refurbishments, critical infrastructure upgrades, major civil works, airport upgrades, and central facilities upgrades.
• Define project scope, plan schedules, estimate costs, and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while procuring necessary resources.
• Review and authorize construction planning, programming, subcontractor engagements, and major variations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience in building and construction across multiple sites, preferably in the resources sector.
• Strong financial acumen with a proven record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in tender/quote/bid preparation and evaluation.
• Proactive communicator with strong negotiation skills and the ability to present confidently to varied audiences.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
