Project Development & Controls Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for an experienced Project Development & Controls Manager to lead proposal development and project controls for infrastructure and facility projects in Alice Springs. The role involves strategic planning, cost control, scheduling and risk management while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing project proposals and execution plans.
• Oversee cost‑loaded schedules, earned‑value analysis, risk identification, change management and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Subcontracts and internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning and vendor engagement.
• Manage transition from proposal to execution through structured handovers and maintain thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects or proposals.
• Strong background in project controls, scheduling and cost control.
• Eligibility for NV1 (AU) or Top Secret (U.S.) security clearance.
