Project Coordinator – Health (6‑month contract, Melbourne)

About the role

This is a six‑month contract position supporting the CareSync Exchange project, a Victorian Government health information sharing platform. The role is hybrid, based in Melbourne CBD, and offers a daily rate of $600 plus superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination services to ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Support managers in defining programmes, tracking milestones, and reporting performance and financial status to governance groups.
• Develop and maintain efficient administration systems and introduce process‑streamlining improvements.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify risks, resolve issues and keep deliverables on track.
• Deliver timely advice and reporting on project planning, delivery activities and outcomes for senior officers and project teams.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a project management or coordination role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
