Program Controls & Reporting Manager

About the role

Bureau Veritas' Defence and Security business is looking for an experienced Scheduling / Program Manager to deliver some of Australia's most significant Defence infrastructure programs. You will lead program-wide scheduling, forecasting and project controls, keeping critical milestones on track and complex programs aligned with strategic objectives. The role is national and can be based from any Bureau Veritas office across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage integrated program schedules using Microsoft Project, aligned across projects, workstreams and stakeholders
• Provide forecasting, status reporting and schedule analysis to support program performance and decision-making
• Drive schedule governance, assurance and quality control across regional project teams
• Support the integration of client and Bureau Veritas scheduling, reporting and project controls frameworks
• Lead continuous improvement, including mentoring, training and team development
• Carry out trend analysis, performance monitoring and risk identification
• Work with clients, project managers and stakeholders to keep scheduling practices consistent and transparent

Required profile

• Extensive experience in program scheduling, project controls or program management in complex environments
• Experience in Defence, government, infrastructure, construction or similar regulated sectors
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop scheduling capability across teams

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Project, with large-scale integrated schedules
