Production Team Member

About the role

Join CSR’s production team in Somersby and operate machinery to produce building materials to commercial standards. You will work on either a 24/5 weekday schedule or a rotating 24/7 shift, ensuring safety and quality at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and monitor output to meet quality standards.
• Identify, report and help resolve equipment faults.
• Deliver on production KPIs while maintaining low‑cost, efficient operations.
• Perform routine maintenance such as high‑pressure cleaning, waste removal and housekeeping tasks.
• Test machines periodically, log activities and conduct quality inspections.
• Communicate effectively with the team and provide feedback on site conditions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and use of protective equipment.
• Physical endurance and strength for manual tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education preferred.
• Capability to operate a forklift (not essential).
