Production Operator – Manufacturing Yeast (Sydney)

About the role

Mauri, a leading supplier of flours, yeasts and related products, is seeking a Production Operator for its Camellia site in Sydney. You will work on a rotating two‑week roster to help maintain high standards of production and quality in yeast manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
• Prepare raw materials for each production run.
• Maintain yeast quality by following specifications, cleaning and sanitisation procedures.
• Record production, quality and safety data accurately.
• Collaborate with the team to meet customer needs, production targets and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Operator in a food manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Strong literacy and numeracy for completing production documentation.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and lift up to 25 kg.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and occasional weekends.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
