About the role
We are looking for a motivated Procurement Officer to join the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate in Adelaide. The role provides expert procurement advice, supports agency decision‑making and ensures quality across all procurement activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver expert procurement advice to support agency decisions.
- Manage quality assurance for all procurement activities and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Contribute to procurement plans, strategies, business cases and policy development.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while prioritising competing tasks.
- Experience in procurement and contract development, including acquisition planning and vendor management.
- Knowledge of government legislation, tender evaluation, contract management and dispute resolution.
