About the role

Rex Plumbing, part of Ascot Group, provides plumbing services in residential and commercial fields to clients in government, aged care and retirement living, healthcare and education. Due to continued growth, it is looking for a qualified plumber for a minor works role based in North Melbourne, serving clients across Melbourne. The team is described as friendly, supportive and hardworking.

Required profile

• Able to follow plans, scopes, specifications, budgets and schedules
• Problem solver who shows initiative
• Can work autonomously as well as in a team
• Professional, well presented, with good communication skills
• Committed to safety under Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Willingness to write clear and concise job notes
• Minimum 1 year of experience after apprenticeship with rough-ins and fit-offs
• Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

Required skills

• Current plumbing registration
• Current red/white card
• Current driving licence
• Able to obtain Police and Working with Children (Employee) checks
