Oral Health Therapist - Multiple Perth Clinics

About the role

Well-established dental practices across Perth are looking for Oral Health Therapists to join their teams. Depending on your scope of practice and the individual clinic, you may provide a mix of hygiene, preventive and restorative treatments to adult and paediatric patients. The role suits therapists who want flexible hours, a supportive clinical environment and a position closer to home.

Key responsibilities

• Take comprehensive oral health assessments
• Perform scale and cleans and preventive dental care
• Provide periodontal treatment, including scaling and root planing
• Apply fluoride, place fissure sealants and give oral hygiene education
• Carry out composite fillings and other restorative procedures within scope
• Conduct paediatric examinations and preventive treatments
• Take dental radiographs where appropriate
• Manage gum disease and provide ongoing maintenance
• Work closely with dentists on comprehensive treatment plans

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
• Recognised Oral Health Therapy qualification
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Australian working rights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence providing preventive and restorative dental care
