Operations Manager - Enterprise Services

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the technical delivery of services within the Platform Development team of the Queensland Department of Education. The role ensures smooth device provisioning, enterprise application deployment, and platform updates while collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee staff responsible for application deployment, device configuration, provisioning, scripting, automation and limited application development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time, aligning tasks with delivery goals, milestones and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including ITIL‑aligned change records, design and process documentation to support service improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Manage time and resources using a structured approach to track work and meet delivery expectations.
